Mission

The fundation's mission is:

a) to grant awards for research work on 20th-century Catalan fiction, the "Mercè Rodoreda Awards".

b) to give grants of all kinds for studies and projects related to 20th-century Catalan fiction, and mainly the study and dissemination of the works of Mercè Rodoreda.

c) The creation of a library that contains all of Mercè Rodoreda's works and their translations and the acquisition of all sorts of material related to the author in order to create the mercè Rodoreda Library and Archive.

d) the custody of Mercè Rodoreda's documents owned by the foundation, as well as others granted to it.
